I once turned up to the C.O without one and was introduced to a dumbass Elder who looked me over for my badge rather then ask me who I was...what an asshole.
if i may ask, for those on this site, who still believe in a god in their own way... why do you still believe in a god?.
since every thing in the bible can be shot down with reason, why would you still believe in a god?.
1. People are afraid of being mortal and dying.
2.We have a childish need to be devoted to a father fiigure.
3.Some of us are born "followers" and find it hard to make decisions for ourselves.
i definitely support science, i think that the entire field is fascinating.
the things that have been discovered and that will be discovered in the future is mind-boggling.
i do wonder, however, if there is some things that science can't explain.
People used to pray to the sun...still doing it today.
i am writing stuff for the benefit of my kids mainly, i may one day make it public and i am a liitle stumped on kingdom hall.. the thrust of my writings is whats wrong with jws, on many subjects naturaly.
i try to contain the info to one page per subject.. just what is 'wrong' with a kingdom hall?
maybe i need to drop the subject?
The hall is built by poor witness money...then taken over by a rich org in new york. at the back is a so called library which is a room for spanking children who cant sit for 2 hours.
No blood fractions would mean death for hemophiliacs and many other ill witnesses who require many gallons of worldly blood for survival.....too bad donating blood is a disfellowshiping offence.
alert for those in the uk.. bbc radio 4 programme today anounced at 7 am that they are going to include an item on "what is the difference between a religion and a cult.. i don't know which part of the programme, and it doesn't seem to mention it on the programme's website.
but, you can usually pick up replays on iplayer and the programme's podcasts etc..
There is no difference. one group calling the other a cult.

i have been a lurker here the last few months and have been going through the process of researching both sides of the story of jehovahs witnesses.
i was raised in the borg, got married and now have a young child.. my wife is very much dedicated to the organization and will justify anything the "slave" does putting it off on the borgs imperfection.
Worked like a charm for me...p.s chronic fatigue is a common witness sickness which allows you to leave while getting pats on the back from elders.

Listen to me mate....fake some cronic fatigue and slowly slow down your ministry until 6 months later quiting m.servant duties by request during c.o visit. Feed your wife critical stuff like a bird...small pieces and fake your faithfulness to the slave. in 2 or 3 years she will be a new woman...you will be free and no divorce needed.
the movie in full length is on youtube, it is very violent and contains many sex scenes.....it's filmed in a nice large house which is supposed to be a cult headquarters in the film lol!
at 31 minutes two men talk in the study and in the background the shelves are full of watchtower bound volumes, index, greatest man book and many others....it looks like a bethel library...but 10 minutes before two oral sex scenes took place here!!!!.
just wondering if jehovah's blessing would still be on the house!
Oh god...look at the top shelf..aid book next to the insight volumes...a witness house for sure...no set would do that..i rest my case
